We were greeted this afternoon with eight or so elk out in the front of the house. They were eating their way through the neighbor's yard. It was pretty spectacular.
It didn't stop raining but we felt like we needed to get out - or at least I did. Aaron kept muttering that I was crazy during our walk. We bundled up Ezra and Nana drove us against the wind and rain to the other side of Cannon Beach so we could walk back to the house with the wind at our backs. We brought the Baby Bjorn with us but unfortunately it was too unpleasant to have Ezra face out. But he pretty much slept the whole walk.
We had to stop in the candy store of course to get caramel corn and it was pretty much empty. We also stopped to get hot apple cider before heading home.

One of the many benefits of having Nana with us is that Aaron and I were able to go out to dinner on our own for the first time in 3 months last night. The first ten minutes of our dinner was a discussing of what how we thought Ezra was doing of course. We are going to try again tonight because who knows when the next time will be that we can go out again!
