My sister, Samara, an incredibly talented designer, made Ezra this adorable stuffed elephant. She had a similar one when we were growing up that our grandmother made her while I had a stuffed lion. Both the lion and the elephant were our favorite toys...I think I finally had to learn to sleep with out Lion when I went to college. I'm sure Ezra will be giving this guy the same amount of love. Especially when he is bigger than the elephant. Isn't the alphabet pocket cool? The rest of the elephant is made up of all these cool fabrics that have been patchworked together. Samara will take commissions!

Wheh! I'm so glad that it got there okay :)

That really does put into perspective just how big Ezra is - that Elephant is pretty huge!

Interesting fact: Ezra's Elephant is made from all the scraps I had left of my favorite fabrics that I've used over the last 24 months. I knew that I was holding onto them for a reason!

My Elephant, that Grandmom made, is made from the tableclothes that were used at Jim and Deb's wedding.
