Word of the week: Metaquote

When I get together with some of my old friends we tend to speak in movie quotes. However in many cases it has been so long since we've actually seen the movies that we're quoting that rather than quoting the movie itself we are quoting us quoting the movie. I don't know if he invented the term but my friend Jacob called this "Metaquoting".

    But let me just say that I came up with the observation that led to my wife coining the word. I must take credit for setting the stage.
