16 years ago today I spent Yom Hashoah (as well as my 16th birthday) with about 4000 other young people in Auschwitz on the March of the Living. The trip was an intense week long tour of Holocaust related sites in Poland followed by a week in Israel. Every participant made a commitment Holocaust education as the generations that were first hand witnesses fade into history. I have a box full of slides and an album full of photos from the march that I've started converting to digital files. See the whole photostream, here.
