A for effort

Today was a pretty big day for Ezra - not only did he roll over for the first time on purpose* (i.e. not "hey what is this cool thing dangling in front of my face, I think I'll reach for it..what!? wait - huh? what the?....ok now I'm on my back and I'm not sure how that happened. Ooooohhh look, fingers.") but he also did great at daycare.

When we pick him up, we get a daily information sheet on how he did. What he ate, when he slept, when he pooped. It's our way of still being in charge of all these little details. There is also a box for "Overall Disposition" and the teachers can mark off either "Cheerful", "Content", "Tired", or "Sensitive". For the past two months, Ezra's teacher hasn't checked any of these because there wasn't a box for "Cranky pants" or "Mr. Fussbucket x 2". Today, Aaron came home with the sheet, and Ezra's teacher actually checked "Cheerful"!! I'm going to frame it.

*Under duress, but definitely on purpose.
