Ezra went on his first trip last week and did very well. He slept the entire flight up to Seattle where he celebrated his cousin's bris. Unfortunately, we lost a piece of luggage on the way. Well actually, someone took it by mistake and didn't bother to report it. The airline called her days later to tell her that she had a piece of luggage at the airport and she said, yes, she knew because she had taken the wrong bag. When asked why she hadn't bothered to return it or even call, she told the airline representative that it was such a small piece of luggage that she didn't think anyone would miss it. If she had bothered to look inside she would have seen pretty much Ezra's complete wardrobe as I am incapable of packing light. But we finally got it back towards the end of the trip.

Ezra sleeps in his first hotel room - I know you can't tell it is a hotel room, but it is such a cute picture...
The bris was lovely. Jess and Rob appear to be doing great as new parents. And Alex is adorable. So tiny!! We are all very excited about Ezra and Alex being so close in age. Hopefully, sometime soon, they'll be close in size as well.
I also got to spend some time with Sara, Don, and Lila in Seattle. Unfortunately, this was when Ezra decided to behave like a baby and was a fuss bucket for pretty much our entire visit. Poor Ezra. Thankfully, everyone was very understanding. Especially Lila.
Ezra also took his first long car ride with Nana down to Portland. Luckily I-5 opened up right when we needed it and Ezra slept the entire 3.5 hours. Champion traveler!

In Portland, we celebrated Aaron's grandmother's 90th birthday which was a wonderful celebration. Grandma Alice looks great and Ezra enjoyed meeting his great grandmother. The next day, Nana and Saba hosted a meet and greet for Ezra. Ezra behaved himself beautifully and slept through the cacophony of dozens of Jewish ladies oohing and aahing over him. He also got to meet more family - my aunt and uncle and cousin who live in Mosier were able to come out and join us. It was great to see them again!

I love all the new photos and thank you for keeping me up to date on all your adventures.
