Look at this little angel- a real shana punim - how could anyone resist him?

Ezra and I are doing ok home without dear Daddy around during the day. We got the hard news that Aaron will be working many extra hours on his new project. Including now having to work his off Fridays and every other Saturday. Needless to say this was bad timing and it hit both of us pretty hard. It would have been nice if this happened while I was also working really long hours without baby. But we'll get through this fine - my parents are here next week and my mother will probably squeeze another visit in before Nana (aka my mother in law) comes for an extended stay in November.

Yesterday I went to a breast feeding support group which was my first time driving postpartum. At first it felt weird getting behind the wheel again - physically that is and it took me a good 10 minutes to remember that the last time I drove I was 9 months pregnant! But boy did it feel exhilarating - I was free! The support group was great - it was led by a lactation consultant who was all about mother's comfort and well being so it wasn't too "lactivist" in nature. It was comforting to see all the other new mother's and hear their questions and concerns as well.

What was absolutely amazing was how BIG Ezra was - he was one of the youngest babies but was definitely one of the largest - and there were 2-3 month old babies in the group. Some of the babies looked so tiny and delicate - not at all like my little moose.

With pictures like that, I'll be on the first plane!

Ezra looks beautiful, can't wait to have a cuddle with him.
