He is going to have a blast when he can actually see the planes!

You can imagine that if he was just a bit older Ezra would be totally wide-eyed what with planes taking off and the large trucks - now only if there were a train...we may have to visit Lila's grandparents....)
We had my parents visiting here for the past few days which was wonderful! Unfortunately, it was bad timing for my dad as our garbage disposal went on the fritz so he spent a good amount of time at the hardware shop and under the sink. The help with the laundry and food shopping and dinners was such a great treat. It was sad to see them leave this afternoon but Ezra got a small taste of his future life with Grandma and Grandpa at the airports (and eventually even in the sky!). We wheeled little Ezra out to see the plane Grandma and Grandpa flew down here which was pretty spectacular.
Ezra was sleeping at first but eventually woke up but didn't cry a bit even when a loud jet taxied by. (It might have helped that I had my hands covering his ears while he looked at me with his "what the heck are you doing look".) Heartwarming enough, he didn't start crying until the car ride home - likely already missing Grandpa and Grandma.

I'm glad to see that Dad got to fly out, he was really looking forward to that! (They were both looking forward to seeing Ezra). Good to hear that the visit went well!
