Our doctor broke Shanna's bag o' waters about 20 minutes ago. She's still at 4 cm but The Kid's hand is out of the way. Breaking the water should speed things up and her contractions are already getting more intense. Shanna's holding in there. Earlier we could hear the baby next door being born while we were all taking naps that was encouraging. There is a happy end to this.
Also, since I'll probably forget. Shanna and I thought of a great invention a couple of hours ago. I'd say what it is, but I don't want to give away The Kid's inheritance.

Even during a brief period of sleep I dreamed that Shanna called me and had a contraction while talking on the phone. (Incidentally, during the phone conversation/dream, I was very concerned about if the bris date was going to change.)- TKT said...
