He's a tumbler! We went in for another doctor's visit today and lo and behold! He has flipped himself around. And I didn't even notice! Baby's aren't supposed to be flipping around after 36 weeks or so and this one has done it at least twice. Small baby and large uterus? hmm...
Aaron kindly told me that he'll mention this when I'm in the throes of labor - that I could have had a scheduled c-section. I think the part of him that likes schedules and no pain might have actually preferred the c-section. The other part (and the larger part) of him knows how much it means to me and is also thrilled. That and now it means that if we can deliver vaginally he won't have the remotest chance of seeing my bloody insides.
We had a 5 day respite of preparing for L&D. I couldn't really bring myself to prepare knowing that a scheduled c-section might be on the horizon. But now it is back to business. Breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth.
And wait....
