I actually have a moment now to make a real post. I hope everyone is enjoying our posts, even if I am quite literally phoning it in. My voice is the type to not get picked up by a computer very well but what can you do, you know other than annunciate.

The night shift here at the hospital is much more generous than the day staff. We walked around the floor unhooked to anything for about a half an hour. Shanna is taking a nap now and we have a few more minutes before the nurse will show up to connect her back up to everything. Our best guess right now is at least another 12 hours of action so if we're lucky my folks will be able to tell everyone at shul tomorrow that they are grandparents (well, if they don't go early)

As for me, I'm in good spirits. I can't wait to be a dad. I have a feeling this kid is going to be a handful. He's like me and never stops moving. Shanna told me before, but hearing it on the monitor really makes it sink in. I bet when he's old enough to use a phone he'll pace like me too. Boy that will drive his mother absolutely crazy. I can't wait.

    Hi Guys -

I'm leaving for my flight today so will probably be in the air when the magic happens. Lots of love and can't wait to land to hear more about The Kid. Xx

This may be a real hardship but if we have to we'll go for shul late (and leave early). Anything for The (grand) Kid.
