Dear The Kid,
This is your father. Your mother and I would like you to be born now. As she noted, we can see that you're going to take after her in the timeliness department. Originally I was okay with you being a little late, you see your mom has this thing called the "nesting instinct" which has caused her to do all kinds of housework that she'd normally only do kicking and screaming. I know I'm supposed to stop her since she's she'll need all her energy to push you into the world, but still, it's great having a spic n' span kitchen. Besides, Grandma helped her. In case you were wondering, I didn't get off scot free, and once you're born I'm sure your marvel at how clean our toilets are. She's now had a few days to recover from the cleaning ordeal and I think she's running out of little things to do, so now would be a good time to make your entrance. I don't think I can handle her unpacking and repacking the hospital luggage again and being on the second story, I really don't want to clean the outsides of our windows. The weather out here is fantastic and the place is ready for us to bring you home. Can't wait to see you.
Love,
Your dad.

September 15, 2007 at 8:21 PMRemember, September 19th is talk like a pirate day! Since The Kid is related to Aaron, I bet he is aiming for that day.
