Ever been to a Turkish prison?

Even though I ooze manliness, I'm actually a big wimp when it comes to needles. I finally bit the bullet and donated blood. The whole process took longer than I expected and I had to answer some embarassing questions about my time in a Turkish prison but overall it was pretty rewarding. Multiple chocolate chip cookie rewarding.

    Whenever I'm faced with a shot or giving blood I have to take the neck of my tee shirt and put it up over the bridge of my nose.

    I don't know why, but it makes the whole process seem a lot less scary.

    You should try it.
